April is a Month for Awareness, Support, and Action
Across South Dakota, advocates, agencies, and communities are raising awareness and providing support this April. Explore April Awareness Resources >
The South Dakota Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault (The Network) serves as the statewide voice for victim services, victims’ rights, and violence across the lifespan. We work with survivors of all ages, families impacted by violence, and the agencies and professionals who respond to them.
The Network brings together 70+ member agencies and 40+ partner organizations, collectively serving all 66 counties in South Dakota. Our role is to strengthen and sustain the entire victim-services network so that every person has access to safety, support, and justice.
The Network does not provide direct services. If you need immediate assistance,
please contact a member agency or call the South Dakota Helpline at 211 or
the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).
Together, we work to
end domestic and
sexual violence
through collaboration,
education, and advocacy.
